Optique offer both NHS and private eye examinations and every appointment is tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

We have invested in some of the best diagnostic equipment for checking both vision and visual problems including a Nidek Plasma test chart and Fundus camera for taking detailed photographic images of your retina.

Claire will take time to explain the results of your Eye Test in a way that is understandable and will make the best recommendations for your visual requirements.

Many people qualify for a free NHS Eye Exam:

  • Children 16 years and younger (or 18 years if in full time education)
  • Over 60s
  • Diabetics
  • Those with glaucoma (or over 40 and an immediate relative of someone with glaucoma)
  • Those in receipt of certain government benefits
